China

This is a link to an article about a subject that seems to have fallen off the radar screen in recent years, human rights in China. This is an issue that will loom large in coming years and I would be interested if you have any thoughts on it.

Well I am more confused. I thought that Ben's point was a normative one, that Yahoo was doing the right thing. Now, we seem to have shifted ground to a simple empirical claim that they appear to care more about business than about human rights. Which is it?

By the way, if the North Koreans only have nuclear weapons now because they broke their word given in treaties before, why would we believe them if they agree to give up their nuclear weapons now? Haven't we bought that horse before?
